Doctor Visit Shots and Tears!

Paislee had a doctors appointment on Monday her 2 month visit which also brought her first shots!  The appointment went well she is growing well.  11 lbs 4 oz 23 inches long and her head measures 40 centemeters.  So she is healthy YEAH!!  But next came those shots which I was scared for because of all the stories from sisters and other moms.  Well I held her little hand as she was given the oral and it went well even the nurse commented on how well she did great my girl is a champ, but then the real shots.... again I held her hand and then as soon as that mean ol' nurse poked her tears welled up in her big blue eyes and she let out the most heart breaking cry.  Thinking about it now makes me want to cry and I almost did then, but I didn't want the nurse to think I was this "NEW" over protective mom even though I am :)  So I gave Paislee kisses and told her she would be ok.  Then the nurse was like "I am done now"  I felt a little stupid I was so wrapped up in consoling Paislee I didn't realize we were finished and the nurse was waiting for me to leave.  Well I picked up my sweet still crying Paislee and made my way to the waiting room where I sat to calm my sweetie down.  Mark was on his way to school and I felt so bad for Paislee I told him to come see her so he came and she fell asleep in his arms.  I know I am a big baby but it was the sadest thing ever I am really not looking forward to her next visit and I am sure she is not ether!

Paislee's announcements!

So I finally finished and sent out Paislee's announcements!  No worries that she is now 2 months old, which by the way is so crazy I swear that i was just prego:)  Camille my sweet sister took Paislee's pictures and they turned out adorable, but I knew they would take the best photographer and the most absolute cutest baby ever and what do you get the cutes best pics ever!  Ok so it helps that I am the mother of the baby and the sister of the photographer but you look at them and tell me different!  So to sort of explain the pictures I pretty much have loved tinkerbell my whole life and I am facinated with a land that you never have to grow up.  Fortunatly I did grow up and now I have the cutest family, anyway I wanted Paislee to look like my littel Pixie/Tinkerbell.  Her bedroom is basically a pixie land and I wanted an adorable pic of her to go on the wall and tada success!! SHE IS SOSOSO CUTE!!!

New at Blogging!!

So this is my first offical post and I hope I get a hang of this blogging stuff:)  Well lots of things have happened in my life recently.  I had a baby December 20, 2009 Paislee Mae Tims and she is the best baby I could ask for literally she only cries if she is hungry and that is a minimal cry she is truly so sweet.  She weighed 7.11 and was 20 inches long.  She gave us quit a scare with an emergency c-section and a week stay in the hospital fighting an infection.  However she is healthy now and as happy as ever.  Mark blessed her a week ago Sunday and it was beautiful and so sweet she looked at him through out the entire blessing what a cutie!  Her dress was gorgous thanks to my mom.  We were able to recieve a bodice from my mothers store Little Things Mean A lot from the dress I always wanted for my little girl, but it was $200 dollars and there is no way I would have been able to aford it.  So ten dollars later we had the bodice and then my amazing mother made the skirt with left over fabric from my wedding dress, so it was extra special!  My mom then found little flowers to line the bodice and I used the same ones to make Paislee a headband.  She was so sweet and beautiful we were so lucky to have our families there and support us with all the priesthood holders it was awesome.  Now its over and the stress is gone I am truly blessed!! Sorry no pictures Mark needs to help me upload them on the computer so until next time.  Here are some pics!!
